For the third year running, Cyprus has earned the title of "Strong Innovator" on the European Innovation Scoreboard 2024. Ranking 10th among EU member states, Cyprus boasts an innovation performance of 106.3% of the European average, showing an impressive 39% growth since 2017—the highest in Europe​ (CBN)​​ (Ekathimerini)​.

Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation, and Digital Policy, Dr. Nicodemos Damianou, highlighted the effectiveness of Cyprus's innovation policies.
